        This refers to the treatment of raw materials to transform them into finished or semi finished goods thereby making them more valuable or more useful. Agro-processing ( adding value to agricultural products) is a major means of income generation. You can choose a product in which you have a comparable advantage in its processing. Maybe you have the skill in processing a particular product or you are located close to the source of raw material. For example, if you know how to process cassava into garri and you are staying close to where cassava is cultivated or sold, then you may decide to go into garri production.
