Some people are not in a position to produce anything. That doesn't
mean that they are useless. In fact, they can satisfy a very important
need of society. They can serve as middle men, helping goods to move
from the producer to the final consumer and services from service
providers to consumers. All goods are produced for consumption. So
producers and service providers need consumers. Consumers, on the other
hand, need the goods and services, but they may not know where the
producers and service providers or their goods and services are. It is
the marketer who establishes the link between the producers/ service
providers and the consumers. He finds out what goods is available and
where and informs the consumer about it. He may do so through word of
mouth or by any other advertising medium or platform, either online or
offline. He earns commission for rendering such a service. He is paid by
the company or the person with whom he is affiliated, either the producer,
service provider, the supplier or the trader who has the goods in his
shop or even the consumer who gets a product through the effort of the
marketer.
So, look out; what are consumers looking for? Lead them to the supplier or service provider and get rewarded for your effort.
